In Strict Tempo: Ceremony #6 Mother - Live At SWG3 (Live At The Liquid Room 30th Anniversary)

Glasgow’s Mother Mark Maxwell really is the DJ’s DJ.

A longstanding part of the Rubadub crew, with the record collection and taste of someone who’s spent hard time behind the counter, anyone that’s heard one of his sets will agree he’s one of the finest in the game- including none other than the Wizard himself, Jeff Mills.

As part of Mills’ 30th Anniversary tour of Live At The Liquid Rooms last December, Maxwell played in between his two sets at Glasgows SWG3, and it’s this mix he’s kindly allowed me to share here. In his own words it’s a “warts & all room recording captured on the voice notes app, with a touch of added compression to complement the already brutal limiting”.
